DisplayPort Amplifier

Display Port AMPLIFIER

DisplayPort Amplifier is a protocolagnostic, low latency linear equalizer that compensates for losses due to cables and other devices installed between graphics card and monitor effectively extending the maximum distance between signal source and the receiver.

Device supports DisplayPort 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 and eDP 1.4 standards at resolutions up to 4K@60Hz.

DisplayPort Amplifier allows user to manually set the equalization at up to 17dB and control both input and output DC gains (0dB/-6dB and 0dB/6dB respectively). The device is transparent to DisplayPort link training at all times and can be installed close to the graphics card or close to the monitor (or at both ends at the same time).

DisplayPort Amplifier is powered either from Pin 20 of DisplayPort connector* or using separate power supply. When the separate power supply is used the device provides current on pin 20 that can be used to power passive devices installed between graphics card and monitor.

*DisplayPort Amplifier requires at least 220mA on pin 20 for passive mode operation.
